A plain-language summary of the data Retenzo uses for customer and merchant accounts and how that information is handled.

DATA IS USED TO PROVIDE THE SERVICE

Customer data

Account / identification Mobile number or other account information used to identify the customer.
Transaction information Information associated with eligible transactions used for payment verification and loyalty processing.
Rewards and loyalty Visit, spend, reward-progress and redemption information used to operate loyalty programs.
App/service information Information necessary to provide requested Retenzo features.
MERCHANT DATA

Merchant data

Business information Business name, category, address and other details supplied by the merchant.
Account information Information used to maintain the merchant account and access to merchant features.
Customer and transaction activity Information needed to run loyalty programs, payment verification and merchant insights.
Reward configuration Targets, reward values and program settings configured by the merchant.

How the data is used

  • Account creation, authentication and account management.
  • Connecting customers with the correct merchant loyalty program.
  • Payment verification and reward eligibility.
  • Tracking loyalty progress, rewards and redemptions.
  • Providing merchant customer-retention and business insights.
  • Security, fraud prevention, troubleshooting and service operation.

Data security

Retenzo uses Firebase/cloud infrastructure and encrypted network connections for data transmission. Access to data is controlled through the application's authentication and database rules.

Data encrypted in transit: Yes.

Data sharing

Retenzo does not sell personal information. Data may be processed by infrastructure and service providers necessary to operate Retenzo.

UPI/payment transactions are completed through external payment applications or payment systems; Retenzo does not process or facilitate the payment itself.

Account deletion — customers and merchants

Customers and merchants can delete their Retenzo account at any time directly from the Settings/account section of the app. No approval from Retenzo is required.

For customers

  1. Open the Retenzo app.
  2. Open the Settings/account section.
  3. Tap Delete Account.
  4. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

For merchants

  1. Open the Retenzo merchant app.
  2. Open the Settings/account section.
  3. Tap Delete Account.
  4. Confirm the deletion when prompted.
Permanent deletion: Once deletion is confirmed and completed, the Retenzo account and all data associated with that account are permanently erased.

Retenzo does not keep or retain any of the deleted account's data after deletion.
