Retenzo Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Retenzo handles information for customers and merchants who use the Retenzo platform.

1. Who this policy applies to

This Privacy Policy applies to both Retenzo customers and Retenzo merchants/business users. Retenzo provides a customer loyalty and rewards platform that connects payment activity, loyalty programs, rewards, reviews, social engagement and business insights.

2. Information we may collect

Customers

Mobile number or other account/login information used by the app.
Information associated with loyalty and reward activity.
Transaction-related information used to verify eligible payments and calculate rewards.
Information required for customer account and app functionality.

Merchants

Business/account information provided during merchant registration and setup.
Business details such as business name, category and address where provided.
Merchant loyalty-program configuration and reward settings.
Customer, transaction, reward and business-insight information generated through use of the platform.

3. How information is used

To provide and operate Retenzo accounts and services.
To identify the relevant merchant and customer within the loyalty journey.
To verify payment-related activity and determine reward eligibility.
To maintain reward progress and transaction history needed for the service.
To provide merchant business and retention insights.
To support reviews, social engagement and other features selected by the user.
To maintain security, prevent misuse and troubleshoot the platform.

4. Storage and security

Retenzo uses cloud infrastructure including Firebase services for application data. Data is transmitted using secure encrypted connections where supported by the underlying service. Retenzo uses reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration or disclosure.

5. Sharing of information

Retenzo does not sell personal information. Information may be processed by service providers and infrastructure providers required to operate the platform. Payment transactions themselves are completed through external payment applications or payment systems; Retenzo does not process or facilitate the payment itself.

6. Account deletion

Customers and merchants can delete their Retenzo account from the account/settings area of the app.
When an account deletion request is confirmed, Retenzo deletes the account and associated data maintained for that account, subject to any retention that is legally required.

7. Data retention

When a customer or merchant deletes their account, Retenzo's policy is to delete the associated account data. If any information must temporarily be retained to comply with a legal obligation, resolve a dispute, prevent fraud or satisfy another lawful requirement, it may be retained only for the period required for that purpose.

8. Children's privacy

Retenzo is intended for users who are legally able to use the service. Retenzo does not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children who are not permitted to use the service.

9. Changes to this policy

Retenzo may update this Privacy Policy when the platform, legal requirements or data practices change. The updated version will be published on this page with an updated effective date.
